This newly formed nonprofit offers free professional housecleaning services to improve the lives of women undergoing treatment for cancer.
If you are wondering how this work you must visit the website http://cleaningforareason.com. Once you are at the site click on Cancer Patient.Fill out the form to request maid services. If there is a participating maid service in your area you will be asked to furnish a “proof of treatment” statement from your doctor and you’ll need to sign and submit the “patient waiver”. Upon receipt of these two documents you will be contacted by an Official Cleaning For A Reason Partner in your city. Four free cleanings will be offered once a month for four months.

My mother who is 71 has multiple myleoma. She is in need of some assistance cleaning her house periodically.
I have tried at least 10 times to go to the cancer patient tab at 12:00 noon and fill out an application—unfortunately it is always already full. Are there any other sites or services out there that offer free cleaning or at reduced rates for cancer patients?
