Hi Kim, Hope all is well…I wanted to tell U, if U don’t already know, that the “I AM Bood Club” has a team in the Making Strides in Cancer Walk in Tonya’s loving memory. I mentioned to Karen if she had gotten in touch with you so you can join us but I don’t recall her response…I think I am developing dementia at the very ripe young age of 55.
Blessings to you and your family and hope to see U real soon!

Hi Kim,

I used to work with Tonya for a brief while in the Bronx. In trying to search for her on Face Book, came across her Memory page. Now I know why she wouldn’t respond to her calls in May & June. In total shock right now. I had the great opportunity to buy her book Circles.

Only wish I could have said good bye. Will always be in my memories! May she rest in peace.

Hi Nancy and Elba ~

Tonya Sue Carther was an amazing soul, full of light and beauty. She created and worked on this site Cancer fairy Godmother selflessly. I simply do not have time to keep this site up with the type of activity that Tonya Sue was able to sustain, even as her cancer and her treatments continued.

Times are tough these days, and it does not look like things are going to change anytime in the near future. I know Tonya Sue had trouble making ends meet. Many people log into this site and ask and pray for help. I am hoping there is an angel out there that will be able to offer the type of financial help that many of these people need.
